My name is Gavin Riley, and I am reaching out to introduce myself as a point of contact at Treat Yourself Well Psychology practice in Balmain, where I am a fully registered Psychologist. Our practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for children, teenagers, adults, couples and families. We take a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing.
At Treat Yourself Well, we offer a range of services, including ADHD and Autism assessments, individual and couples counselling, and parenting support. We are compassion focused, mindfulness based, trauma aware and neurodiversity affirming. Our team of experienced professionals is committed to working collaboratively to support our clients in achieving optimal mental health outcomes.
A bit about my background: I have been with Treat Yourself Well for 3 years, and have recently finalised my general registration as a Psychologist. My areas of interest include self compassion, understanding shame, trauma and addiction, and incorporating an awareness of the nervous system into our emotional responding within the social context. I have had the privilege of working alongside our skilled practitioners to enhance patient care and support.
My focus is on ensuring the possible best client care, and I am supported in achieving this through our incredible practice management team who ensure our processes are streamlined and that communication between our team and external healthcare providers is seamless.
I am excited to work closely with you and support the important work you do to improve outcomes for your patients.
